PALMERSTON STOCK SALE

PALMERSTON N., Last Night. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., > report:—At our Palnierston North sale on Thursday, the 30th November, we had a small yarding of sheep and. a fair yarding of cattle, which sold at late rates. We quote:— Sheep: Fat ewes, 12s to 15s; ewes and lambs, shorn, lis Bd. Cattle: 3 and 4-year old bullocks, £6 13s 6d ; yearling*heif§rss £2 17s 6d, £3 2s, £3 5s to £3 7s 6d; steers, small, 35s 6d; empty cows, £2 10s, £3 2s 6d,-to £4 7s; 2-year old empty heifers, £4 Is; ilig'ht fat cows, £5 ss; dairy cows, £4 to £7 ss; bulls, £2 13s 6d to £3 i3s 6d to £3 10s; weaners, 21s 6d.
