Sir ,—This&s to inform the public of MastertonV aiid the women in particular, that'unless they vote for "Restoration"-, on December 7th, I, and a number of other tradesmen, will bo compelled'to put up oxir shutters. We are satisfied that our trade is suffering through, the men of the town —the men who love British freedoms-being unable,'to spend their money in beer. We are of opinion that the more l'.oney that is expended over the hotel bars, and the more time that is spent in interviewing the smiling Hebe,-the better ii will be for our trade.
