NEW APPOINTMENTS

BEGINNING OF THE RE-ORGAN-ISATION.

(Received Last Night, 10.15 o'clock.)

LONDON, November 29,

Vioe-Admiral Sir S. F. Bridgemr. will succeed Admiral Sir A. K. Wilson as First Lord of the Admiralty.; Vice-Admiral Prince Louis of Battenburg and Captain Pakenham will replace Vice-Admiral Sir G. Egerton and Captain C. E. Mudden as Lords of the Admiralty. Vice-Admiral Sir G. A. Callagnn ..has been appointed to command the Home Fleet, and Rear-Admiral Borney will command the Atlantic Fleet. It is presumed that these changes have been made owing to the fact that Mr Winston Churchill desires tojbegia the reorganisation of; tho Nai-y, mi eluding the creation of a naval War Staff, v. ith advisers of recent sea experience.
