The House of Commons has received 70,000 protestsagainst the IfiisaMrance Bill.
Mr gave notice of 220 amendments to the Bffll, including the re-organimtrion. of benefits for servants. He aJiso conferred with the ifriendiljy societies and, agreed that a fullll sickness benefit for 26 weeks be substituted for the alternatives previously proposed).
