Bates, of the Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast:— Mild andl changeable weather has prevailed, with showers on. the .West Coast and Southern* districts'. The 'barometer has faOilen slowly every wChie<re, with valuable winds, moderate westerlies- 1 predominating.
