THE LIBERAL SHIP
(Received November 27, 8.45 a.m.)
LONDON, November 26
Sir G. Parker, speaking at Gravesend, said that Mr Redmond wanted Homo Rule on the basis of the Canadian autonomy. The Government dared not give it with control of the Customs and excise and the practical independence of the Imperial Parliament; yet a. section inside the Cabinet and a large Radical faction outside were willing to grant it. The Liberal ship would certainly go to pieces or that rock, and it was not urilikely.it would be wrecked very sooti over the Insurance Bill.
