ALMOST A SPLIT
NATIONALISTS AND INSURANCE BILL.
(Reveived November 25, 8.45 a.m.)
LONDON, November 24. The Cork Free Press, the organ of the All for Ireland League, declares that a strong minority at meeting of Nationalist members of the House of Commons voted for the inclusion of medical benefits in the clauses of the National Insurance Bill affecting Ireland.
The differences between the majority and the minority almost amount, adds the Free Press, to a party split.
The Times declares that if the House of Lords exercises its supensory vote to enable- the National Insurance Bill to bo considered in 1912, the Government will withdraw the Bill and introduce a non-contributory insur-ance-scheme.
