SPEECH BY MR LLOYO-GEORGE
MILITANT SUFFRAGISTS CRITICISED.

LONDON, November 25
The Hon. ]). Lloyd-George, speaking at Bath, accused the militant suffragists of being more anti-Liberal than pro-suffragists. They favoured limited suffrage. The road was nowclear for an amendment for enfranchising working men's wives, but that did not suit the militant suffragists. Men in all parts of New Zealand and Australia considered that women's franchise- was a- great triumph. One statesman described it as widening tho horizon of the home, and,men were losing slaves because they had found comrades.
