The following grants, in. the Alfredston district were accepted:— Te Hoe bridge, (£ for £), £250; Saunders' RjoaU, £300; AlfredtonAVeber (£ for £), £500; Alfredton. to Pah Valley (£ for £), £250; Barton's' Line to Alangumahoe (£ for £), £150; Hutewai £2OO and Ihuraua River JJridgo (£ for £) £l5O.
