If a pubEc meeting of citizens, or tradesmen, were called, he had no doubt !but tefoat a-'-resolution favouring No-license would be carried. Hfa& Rev. R. C. Gray subsequently refeired to the circular, and critically scrutiniised' its contents, expressing the hope that the convenors of the meeting would accept the challenge of DHir McGiregor and throw the meeting open *-o the public.
