RACE FROM DUNEDIN. On Saturday last the Master ton 'HJoimirng Plageta Gfub flew a race ifirtom Dunedin: and the birds saicceedr ed in putting up a splendid velocity for this distance, which is 440 miles airline. The birds were liberated at diayligjhit (4.15 a.m.) in fine weather, and the first birds home were "clocked in" aft 4.30 p..m. of the earn© day, an actual flying time of 12 hours 15 minutes:, which is easily a record for, tMs j'o'nrney.
