„ The foundation-stone of the new church at Ruripuni will be laid this ftfternoon by the BSshbp of Wellington. members of st. Amen." 'After.further prayer v the service will close singing of the hymni "The Church's One - foundation is Jesus Christ Her Lord.'' The site of the new chorch is situat\i <ed at the corner of the Carterton road Short Street. The ceremony will special interest from the, fact ' that, this will be the first ".foundation . • Bishop ' Sprott will have '\' laid. ' " ' ■ ■' The church, when completed, will consist of nave, chancel and vestry, but it is intended to complete only the ; / ; nave portion at the present time. The architect was Mr H. A; Jones, and , the builders are Messrs Welch and Jlope. The inscripti<m/on -the found- . ation stone will read: "This stone was laid by the Rt. Rov. T. H.
