GRAND GARDEN PARTY. The 'memlbens of the Ma-ste*rtqii Ytoung Men's' Bible Oasis iqterid making a. final effort to wipe off the small remaining debt on their up-ito-datc room, this afternoon, wjhten. a grand garden party will be (held in the grounds of Mr J.; Eliaott, in* Colombo Rload. The room w,as erected a year ago at a cost of about £l3o,and this amount lis being iniet entirely "the efforts of the young men, mo call!'whatever (being nitride on the Olwirch Trustees. ' ; ' v. No effort is being spared to make the garden party an' unqualified success. Preparations hla.ve been made for sweets, produce, and general stalls, and afternoon tea- will be provided free of charge. Arrangements have also been made for the holding of various competitions, the most interesting of which wiß, perhaps, be the ibox-making for ladies. Numerous games wall also be indulged in. A charge*of Is wi3l.be ironde for admission. ■";
