THE "TWA MACS."
It is. a pity, rather, that Messrs T. Mackenzie and R. McNab should have conic to the iM'or'th Island to endeavour to wrest seats from tQie Reform,' Party. They are both, good men—i.iv- their way. Each of .them is entitled to Cabinet rank. But they are on • the- wrong side. They are .supporting a Government which* has (forfeited all claims upon. the constituencies. They belong to a Party Avthiieh has Van to the end of its tether, and which wjll be bffered a priod of retirement for its own good and the good of the country. The electorates of Palmerston and Egiinont will feel compelled to reject the nominees of tear .Joseph Ward, no matter whether they be "Macs" or "Mscks."
