WORKERS' MUTUAL BENEFIT BUILDING SOCIETY
MONTHLY MEETING. The usual monthly meeting of the Directors of the Workers' Mutual' Benefit Building Society was held , last night. Mr K. Krahiagen presided, and Messrs J. Oandy, W. H. | Col©, T. S. Cresswe.ll, A. Gardner. J. \V. Gordon, A. K. Jiohtniston and J. Prentice being also present. Tllije Secretary reported that the wnnuail meeting Messrs J. 0. Kwington., A. K. Johnston and. R. Krahagen were re-elected directors. Mr R. Krahagen was re-elected \ chairman, and Mr J. Prentd.ce vice- i chairmian, for the ensning twelve I months. j Mr W. M. Etosthope was re-elected I direotoiis' auditor, and Messrs Ew- J ington, Kinahasreu and Prentice were I appdimted on the valuation board. ' Tlie Tl-ea'soirer reported a credit balance of £1592 ,7s 9d. Loansamounting to £750 were authorised to' be paid when, tine mortgages were signed. It wias resolved, to hold a ballot for £3OO and a sale of £3OO on 14th Decemlber next, which would bring the total, sum. of money baMotted and sold since Ist September to £2350. A t.ra/insier of two shares was :a<greed to, and two new shares were allotted to a n applicant. iSumdry accounts, as certified to, were passed for payment. ■ Before closing the meeting Mr Krahagen. and Mr Prentice thanked their eodireotors for the honor done them in re-electing them to their, different positions.
