Hlenr EMerlim Waechiter, in the RJeiohstag, denied that the Foreign Office had informed thle Press that Gtetrhiiany intended t oacquire territory in Morocco. He admitted tlijat fifty journalists' met and decided upon tbje annexation oif Morocco. Thie Government, however, advised them to be cautious, as it did not tihiiik thie journalists would be ablle to carry out the scheme alone.
