PALMERSTON N., Last Night.

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report: —At our weekly Palmerston sale to-day, we had a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle, which met with, a ready sale at Tate rates. We Quote: —Sheep: Well-bred Romney ewes, with 100 per cent lambs, 19s lOd; medium ditto, 14s 6d; empty ewes, 12s 7d; ewes, 14s 6d; hoggets, 12s 2d; cull ewes, 7s 2d; cattle 3-year .bullocks, £5; 2-year empty heifers, £3 15s; yearling iheifers, £2 4s 6d, £2 6s 6d, £2 17s 6d, £3 2s, to £3 lis; springing heiefrs, £3 to£4 15s; dairy cows, £5, £B, £8 ss, £ll 10s to £l2 15s; pedigree Jersev bulls, on account of Mr J. P. Clark, 28 guineas.
