Kalipha was imported from India, wltere he won numerous races. He sired the well known pony sire Rajah, that won over 20 tirst prizes in the Show Ring, &nd • was only beaten onoe, and that itime the honours fell to Young Kalipha. Hindoo, another by Kalipha, was never beaten as a weight carrier. He is also the sire of Shamrock, winner of three trots at Wellington. Topsy, the dam of Young Kalipha,, was shown six times in harness, ana\ gained first prize on each occasion, and was shown three times a« a, brood mare, and gained two first prizes and a second.
