A GOOD SQUARE MEAL
What the dyspeptic subjec mostly longs for.
Treatment for Indigestion that put the stomach into condition to digest ordinary food.
The Dyspeptic who wants a good square meal, and knows that he wil suffer if he eats one, finds poor consolation in picking and choosing a diet. Tho only real cure for Indigestion is treatment that will enable the stomach to digest solid food—a steak and vegetables without trouble. !) The tonic treatment-of indigestion |] i-~. based on the contention that lnch!J < 3stion occurs wlien the organs of tho , stomach have become too weak to digest ordinary food, and that only the restoration of the , stomacn to a proper state of tone will cure the I trouble. From their blood making and general tonic qualities, the use of Dr. Williams' Pink Pills have been found of great value in indigestiou. Amongst many successful cures we might mention that of Mrs J. A. S. Brown, 91 Moin Street, Newtown, Wellington, who was so ill with indigestion that her friends never thought to see .her well again. She spent a small fortune trying to find a cure, but nothing proved of any lasting benefit, save Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. This is what M.rs Brown says about them': —
"I hardly dare touch food, sometimes the least morsel would bring on an attack, and all day I'd bo wretched. I had to leave off meat and all vegetables, and for weeks at a time I'd take nothing but milk or beef tea. I'd have the most acute burning sensation at the base of the chest._ My skin was sallow, and I was as thin and debilitated as could be. At night I could not get proper .rest. I had no strength no energy, no pleasure in life. I'd wake up each morning fagged out completely, with my tongue coated, and a cour taste in my mouth. I could , never walk far; I was so weak for one thing that I couldn't draw a full ' breath without a cutting pain cutting through me. I was so low in health and spirits that I hated anyone to speak to me. I was so irritable, and my skin was so cold and clammy. ; Many of my friends thought that I would never get better. I had a small fortune spent on me looking for a cure qr even relief. I was nothing btit a shaddow to look at. I think 1 went to pretty nearly every doctor in Wellington, but I hardly got even temporary relief. Then a friend of mother spoke to her about Dr. Williams' Pink Pills, so I started them. After I had taken tho first three boxes the attacks wore off considerably. I found I could eat better, and began to put on flesh, and get some colour in my face. Dr. Williams Pink Pills finally cured me. Ever since then I've had splendid health."
