A CORRECTION.

Sir, —Would you kindly correct an error which crept into this morning's Age. You credit me with being the owner of the two pedigree Jersey bulls lately imported from the herd of Lady Smyth, A?hton Court, Bristol, England. I regret exceedingly that this" 13 riot true,, but I have never had any interest in these animals, beyong conducting the negotiations for theirpnrchase. They were imported for, and are the sole property of Mr Edward Eagle, junr., of Belvedere, on whose farm tliev now are. —I am, etc., . ' JOHN J. MEAD. Carterton, November 3, 1911. (Our authority for, the statement that the bulls are now the property of Mr Mead was the "New Zealand Farmer," a monthly publication printed at Auckland. We assumed that coming from this source, the information •■ was correct. We regret the error.—Ed. Wairarapa Age.)
