CHURCH SERVICES
To-morrow will lie Children's Day at the Malsterton Methodist Church, when the fifty-fifth anniversary of the Sunday School will be celebrated. Services will be conducted by the Rev. S. J. SerpeH at 11 a.m., 3 and 7 p.m. Thero will be special singing by the children, under the conductorship of Mr S. H. Ralph. Mr D. B. Clough will preside, at the organ. The collections during the day are in aid of the school funds. The annual public meeting will be held on Monday evening, at 7.30 o'clock. The Secretary's and Treasurer's reports will be read, and the prizes and certificates in connection with the recent Wellington Sunday School Union Scripture examinations will bo distributed.
The Rev. A. T. Thompson, 8.A., 8.D., will, conduct both the services at Knox Church to-morrow. There will be no services in the outfields m consequenco of Communion services being held.
At the Baptist Church in Murray's Hall, Masterton, to-morrow evening, Pastor Swinerd will commence a series of addresses to young men, which lie intends giving on the first Sunday in each month. Mr Swinerd has given these addresses in other towns with good success, many young men attending, and lie hopes that the men of Masterton will accept this invitation to hear these addresses.
The Rev. A. Hodge will conduct the services morning and evening at the Congregational Church, to-morrow. The Communion service will ho held after tho evening service. The Rev. S. «T. Serpell will conduct the services in the Methodist Church to-morrow. Rev. J. E. Parsons will take the morning service at Kuripuni, and Mr L. Minifie the evening service. Tho afternoon and evening services at Wangaehu will bo taken by the Rev. J. E. Parsons.
