Mackenzie referred to tho date Sir Harry Atkinson, as "one of the truest and ir.jost broad'-aniinded Liberals New has ever seen." And Sir Ha-ra-y Atkiruson .was the leader pf a party which is. de.soribed by Government followers as "ConservatiTO" and "Tory." If the late Sir Harry Atkinson was a "true Liberal," w'liat are the men. who to-day despise the party wthidh he so ably constructed? Can ,t(hey be termied "Liberal" ? It is just wihla.t wo hiave said al)l along—the "true Liberals" are to be foujid on the Opposition, -benches. Tlio autocrats are in power.
