BRITAIN AND ITALY.

In the House of Commons, Mr F. D. Ackknd, Financial Secretary to the Treasury, in reply to a question'regarding the treaty made with Italy in 1893, said Britain was seeking to amend the treaty in order to secure for the self-governing Dominions the power of separate withdrawal, which they enjoy in all recent treaties.
