PLAGUE.

LONDON, November 1. Tho Local Government Board announces that a seamen who was admitted into Shotley Naval Barracks, at Suffolk, on October 10th, developed symptoms of pneumonia, and when his sputum was examined plague bacilli were found. • Tho source of the infection has not been ascertained. There are no other cases.
