OPENING OF >THE SEASON
The competitions under the control of .the Wairarapa. Cricket Association, will open to-morrow afternoon. The fixtures set down for decision are: — Senior: Master ton v. South Wairarapa, at' Featherston; and Carlton v. Carterton, on the Park Oval.
Junior: Carlton v. St. Matthews., on the schoolgrouud, and .Masterton; v. Mauriceville on the Park Oval.
TEAMS FOR TO-MORROW
The following will represent Master-. I ton seniors: D. Logan, A. E. Esson, T. Jordan, W. Redmond, H. :Mooreliouse, Patrick, C. Perry, A; Congdon, A. Ibbetson, W. Iggulden and T. Rawson. The motor cars will leave Perry Street corner at a quarter past one. The following-will represent Mastertoil juniors: J. B. Moodie, A. Thompson, L. Williams, Wixen, Murphy, Pryor, M. Iggulden, Booth, W. Lett,. E. Wickens, and F. Blackmail.
, Carlton juniors will be represented by the following: W. Hoar, C. Welch, A. Welch, S. Temple, S. Cresswell, E. Petersen, F. Hoar, B. Serpell, H. Miller, R. Milne, W. Lands. The following will represent .the Mauriceville club in the match with Masterton: Fisher (captain). Coombs, Mascelle, Brooks, Barnett, Braggins, Mattson, O'Brien, Martin, and another.
