JOHNSONVILLE STOCK SALE

JOHNSONVILLE, Last Night, Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Jolinsonville sale as follows:—A full entry of both cattle and sheep came forward and sold well at last week's prices. Prime heavy bullocks made £ll -ss, £ll 10s, to £l2; lighter, £lO to £lO 7s 6d; plain light, £8 15s to £9 ss; vealers, 19s Gd to 255; prime heavy wethers, 235; prime wethers, 20s to 21s 6d; prime heavy ewes, 22s lOd; good ewes. 19s to 19s lid; plain, 17s 8d; prime heavy shorn wethers, 17s 10d; prime lambs, 13s 8d to 13s lid to 14s 7d.

MASTERTON STOCK SALE

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:— We held our weekly sale at the Solway yards yesterday, when we offered a small yarding of both sheep and cattle, ■ to" the usual attendance of those interested.- Quotations: —Down cross woolly hoggets, 13s 3d. Cattle: Springing heifers, £4, £4 2s, £5 10s, to £6 10s; cows, to £5 9s; yearling steers, £2 lis 6d to £3 lis for good colours; 18-months'steers, £4; good dairy yearling heifers, £4 Is for a special line offered on account of Mr George Watson ; bulls from 30s to £4 2s 6d.

WOODVILLE STOCK SALE

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd.-, report on their Woodville sale as follows: —We submitted a; fair yarding of sheep and a large yarding of cattle to a good attendance of buyers, sheep selling well lip to late rates, only two pens going out unsold, and we have to report practically a total clearance of cattle :at prices well ■• in favour of the vendors: —Fat ewes to 15s; forward ewes, to 13s lid; empty 6-th to f.m. ewes, to 12s 3d. Cattle: Empty 2-year heifers, to £3 15s 6d; heifers in-calf, £3 6s to £4 Is; yearling steers, to £2 8s; yearling heifers, £2 10s 6d to £3 lis; heifers in calf, springing, £6, £6 7s 6d to £7; cows on drop, to £7 7s 6d; empty store cows, £2 7s to £3 19s; forward cows, to £5 ss; wetaner pigs, 15s.

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Pahiatua sale as follows: —Wo submitted a good yarding of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle..to;.a good attendanceof buyers, both sheep and cattle selling well, and good clearance.
