HUKANUI.
Messrs Graham and iLupton's Pictures paid a welcome visit to Hukanui on Friday, to relieve the monotony. Hamua was also visited on Saturday, where the picture® were exhibited to record houses. Mr Leach l , manager for Messrs Cox and Miurrell, who received, an injury to his foot some ; weeks ago, is progressing favourably. Mrs. Foss railed the first of the season'® cheese away to "Wellington to-day. Mr Conder, who is in charge of the railway station, left for a fortnight's holiday to-day. Mr Short, of Hastings, is acting during his absence.
