SWIMMING.
MEETING OF LADIES' CLUB.
At- a meeting of the Ladies' Swimming Club, held on Monday, it was decided to arrange entertainments for the- purpose of iniisi.ng funds for providing seating accommodation, etc., at the baths, and it was stated that the Club would be glad to receive new members to help tliem 111 this direction.
It Was decided that the Carnival be held on February Bth, and that the Club intend affiliating with the N.Z. centre.
The following officers have been elected in connection with the Club: —Patroness. Mrs W. H. Hosiking; Vice-presidents, Mesdames Blackman, Norman Beetham, Maunsell, Casellberg, and Chennells. Committee, Mesdames. Graham, Kendall, Henry, Bunny, Campbell, Cooper, Petherick, Eton, James, Robson, Archer, Logan, iCoradine, Caselberg, Perry, Misses Hathaway, Burnett, and ' Gillespie. Joint Misses O'Leary and M. Caselberg.
