CONTRAGTING-OUT SYSTEM

TO BE APPLIED TO SHIPPING.

LONDON, October 28. The Shipping Federation has promoted a scheme for contracting out, in connection with the Insurance Bill.

Many conferences have been held (between the shipowners aad seamen, and also with the Treasury. The plan covers everyone connected with shipping, including seamen, dockers and Lascars.

Mr Havelook Wilson is taking a leading part in the movement.
