NATIVE APPELLATE COURT
A WAIRARAPA CASE.
At the sitting of the Native Appellate Court, -which commenced in Wellington on Tuesday last, an appeal was heard against the judgment of Judge iGilfedder, granting probate -of the will of Rukarei Kingi to James Russell, the sole executor and de : visee. Lengthy argument was addressed to the Court by Messrs Hadfield and It. A. Sim for the appellants, and by Mr R. K. Jackson for the executor.' On Friday judgment was given upholding on all points the decision appealed from. The grounds of the appeal were undue influence in obtaining the execution of the will, and want of testamentary capacity. The Court held that there was absolutely no evidence tp. support either allegation.
