"GUESSING."
A contemporary, in reviewing the prospects of the coming elections, makes a numiber of grotesque blunders. Several candidates whom it expects to win seats have no intention of going to the poll. Among the number is Mr G«orge Nelson, of Napier, who retired from the contest some weeks back! People who pose as "guessers" should not name as probable winners horses that have been scratched long ibefore the race.
