TO-DAY'S WEATHER
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST.

WELLINGTON, Last Night.
The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast:—
Northerly and westerly winds, strong to gale, have prevailed, with gloomy and wet weather generally. Barometer has fallen everywhere.
Present indications are for <rain in all parts of the country. Hie barometer will probably fall for a short time, but a rise is due in the South within from twenty-four to 36 liours, when, winds will change Co southward and increase with colder weather. ' Strong northerly and westerly Avinds are ,probable' in the meantime, though a temporary lull in partsi is due to two low pressure areas somewhat neutralising each other.
