AVIATOR'S FALL TO EARTH,

NEW YORK, October 24. Mr Orville Wright narrowly escaped death in North Carolina, his glider overturning in mid-air and falling to the earth.

Mr Wright was slightly injured. The- New mechanism designed to keep aeroplanes on an even keel was the subject of an experiment, Wrigiit maintaining that ho secured a satisfactory result.
