Sir, — Allow me to congratulate you on your remarks in to-day'e Age ■ relative to the above. It is quite time that a stop be put t{> the inconvenience of the alterations made to the time-table on the Trenthamrace days. It is bod enough to have • the alterations, and for passengers not to be allowed to use.that train unless they are going to *he„ races,. but I think we down the Jibe "have to suffer a greater injustice -and that is that (instead of our mails coming down Iby the train' which, leavesi at the' ordinary time, but which must be keptv entirely for the devotees- of" sport, they are kept > back .till she jority are upheld against those of aimen along.the line ere to be considered (before itihe sporting public, and" the (mails i&hould be isent along at the ordinary time. Haying taken the matter up I -trust that you -will nofr let it rest till'the rights of the majoriy are upheld against those of-4. small minority.— JL am, etc., ' FEATHEBSTONIAN. ' October 25th, 1911.
