DETERMINED SUICIDE
OLD MAN HANGS HIMSELF.

A case of determined suicide occurred near Akaroa yesterday afternoon, (the victim being an old resident of the Peninsula named John Wilkin. Deceased was in the habit of ;takine a daily walk, not- returning till late in the day, and no notice was taken of his absence. Two of his son&, 'however, when returning from work, found their father hanging by the neck in a 'wihare, quite dead. Deceased had been, suffering ifr:om and had expressed his itiftention of ending his life if affected again.
