TO-DAY'S WEATHER
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST.

WELLINGTON, Last Night.
The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast: —
Northerly and westerly winds, strong to gale, have been experienced generally; Ibut a change to the sovthward occurred on the East Ooas& during last night, with .a rapid rise an the barometer. In the South the barometer has fallen slightly. In the North, cloudy and unsettled weather has prevailed, and rain in many parts. Rivers in high flood on the West Coast'of the South Island.
Piesent indications are for «,'railing barometer everywhere, with high northerly and westerly winds, cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain probable generally.
