GISBORNE," Last Night. The . thiny-second annual A. and 1' Show was opened to-day, in fine weather. The attendance was not quite as large as usual, but a record attendance is expected to-mor-row,, "People's Day.' Interest in the Show is. welL maintained, and entries increased from 1229 last.year to 1246. There is a particularly good increase in the cattle entries.' xhe sheep classes are only notable for tbe exhibit of Romaieys. The champion award in the sheep classes were:— Lincoln ram: A. J. Cameron, G Osborne; Lincoln ewe, R. C. Miller, Gig-borne j Romney ram, A. and J. Gray, Musterton; ■ Rlomney ewe, F. Hutchinson and Son, H'awke's Bay.
