JHE TAUMAiRUNUI RACE.
The race from Taumarunui, an air line distance of 144 miles, in connection with the Masterton Homing Pigeon Club, took place on Thursday last. Seventy-six birds, representing eighteen lofts, 'competed. The winner did the distance in shrs 30mins. FoW lowing .wore the results:— J. Dixon's "My Lawyer" ... 1 W. Drake's "Endeavour" ... '2
