Mr Fisher, discussing Mr Deakin's amendment to tho Industrial Arbitration Amendment Bill, asked if the Opposition objected to all the powers in the Constitution being vested in a Court that could prevent strikes. Surely it was the House's duty to give tho Court the power. The amendment meant otherwise. He had been gratified to see how the parties chideel the Arbitration Court's decisions.
