THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. Despite the wet weather and cowx"tei' attractions, the Foresters'. was well filled last evening, when the new /programume <was presented' for' the first time to a delighted audience.' The hill of fare iwsu. noticeable •chiefly for the excellent dramas shown. The best of the /studies was "The Voice of the Violin," a capital A.B. Picture, the details having ibeen well thought out, the acting firstclass, and the photography all that could, ibe desired. The Edison Com>pany presented a fine i&ufbject in. the "Buried Past," a drama that appealed to all. "His Mother"—a Vitagraph production—was- a good pic! ture. "A Tragedy in Toyland" was o. novelty picture that avus much appreciated. "Life in a Country Pond" was an instructive and very interesting film, and ishowed the various insects, fish, etc., which are found in ponds. Of the comios, "Toto Without Water" and "Tweedledum'is White' Suit" raised a'oars of laughter. A number of other interesting pictures were shown. The children'* matinee will take place on Saturday afternoon, at 2.30 o'clock.
