LONDON MARKETS

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received cable advice from their London office under date of the 12th instant, in regard to the following markets: —Frozen meat and . lamb.— Since our last wire prices are Jd per lb lower owing to poor demand. For quantities held in store, the market is firm because stocks are moderate and floats light. Beef: No demand owing to heavy supplies of chilled. Nominal quotation New Zealand prime ox beef, hinds 3jd, fores 2£d. Mutton tallow: Neglected and prices are unchanged. For other descriptions prices are very irregular but on the average are 9d per owt higher. Rabbitskins: Since our last wire, prices are lower by Id to 2d per lb.
