THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
Tfo* Foresters' Hall was well filled last evening, when the new progranume was presented-. The, hill of fare' was an excellent one, there being many of the best, productions of cinematograph firms' in various parts of the world. In dramas there are some really good pictures. The Edison Company .has taken "An Evfenttful Evening" fi'ojm the pen, of Richard Harding Davis; and prod-"' uoed an interesting story that should) be popular. In "A Byzatine' Tragedy," we have a powerful plot well acted, and correct in etery detail, the staging and costumes being very fine. "A Fascinating Bachelor" T is an original and amusing comedy byLubin. "His Just ticularly fine drama. Two Pathe Gazettes are included, one of Englidb f ■ topical events and the other -snapp? ings in Australia. Besides tihe above there are education'and comic films of a high standard. First-class mu- v sic by the T.-P. Orcliestra completed a splendid, evening's entertainment, which will be repeats this evening.
