Kalipha was imported from India, where he won ' numerous races. He sired the well known pny sire Rajah, that won over 20 prizes in the Show Ring, and was only beaten once, and that time the honours fell to Young Kalipha. Hindoo, another by Kalipha, was never beaten as a weight carrier. He is also the sire of Shamrock, winner of three trots at Wellington. Topsy, the dam of Young Kalipha, was shown six times in harness, and gained first prize on each occasion, and was shown three tones as a brood mare, and gained two first prizes and a second. - By the above it is easily seem that YOUNG KALIPHA'S oredentiak are second ibo none as a sire to get quality stock.
