(Mr Jackson pointed l out that the applicants were not complying with the resolution' passed by the Trust, vi that they were not attending the University. • was argued that as the students were to sit for the same examine tions as those attending the University they were equally entitled to a gnaait. Feist, asking for the insurance of the new brick building, was referred to thfe Building Ooin/mdttee. •The reports of the 'Committees were adopted. . A recommendiation was passed for the Building Cbmmittee to miake an inrpection and report on the condition of the Trust's cottages. A report of tilie. architect on the progress of the erection of the new brick building was read and adopted. Mir J. W. Blliackman submitted a full report; of the installation of the electric light in the Town Hall.— The'report was referred to the Town Hall Committee. * ffit wias reisolved to write to the supervisor (iMr Dawson) expressing the Trust's appreciation of the way in which: the in-staJiation hiad been carried out.
