NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. By Tdearavh — P*'** Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office' this evening issued the following summary and forecast: — A westerly storm area has developed, and rain has fallen in many parts of the country. . High northerly winds have prevailed, and the barometer, hasi fallen everywhere. Present indications are for rain iand cloudy weather generally, with tt further'faliin..the barometer in most parts Oi the country j but a temporary rise is- anticipated .shortly: in the South. High northerly and westerly winds wall probably predominate, but a 'change .to the .southward for a short time may be looked for .soon.
