PALMERSTON STOCK SALE. (By Telegraph—Special to tlie Age.) PALMERSTON N., Last Night. Messrs Abraham /and Williams, Ltd., report as follows regarding their Palmerston North sale held to-day:— We had a. small yarding of both sheep and cattle, which met with <a fair demand. We quote: Sheep: Ewes ana lambs {good), 18s 6d { imall hoggets, . 8s 9d. Cattle: Store bullocks, £6 10s; fat cows, £5 15s to £7; forward cows, £3 lis 6d to £4 15s 6d; store cows, , 37s 6d to £2 los; backward heifers in calf, £3 lis to £3 14s; bulls, £2 17s 6d. _^
