The first birds to I arrive were as follows: — ' W. Drake's "Sea Queen," velocity 950jfds per minute 1 J. Dixon's "Ganger Ale," velocity, 900 yds per minute '2 AV. Hoar's "Autocrat," velocity, 899 yds per minute 3 AV. Dowling's "Cutts," , 4 A. Miller's "Surveyor," 5 The next race takes place from Christchurch to-morrow.
