MASTERTON FISHPONDS
* -_ AND THE A. AND P. ASSOCIATION. Mr Duncan McGregor, senr., a member of the Council of the Wellington Acclimatisation Society, accompanied by Mr Donald Donald, of the Masterton Chamber of Commerce, has visited and inspected the Solway showgrounds. As a result of this-in-spection, a letter has been written to the Masterton A. and P. Association, asking it to set up a committee to meet the Chamber of Commerce and others interested, to discuss the question of establishing fishponds on the showgrounds. It is usderstood that, should the Wellington' Society persist in removing the fishponds from Maserton, an effort will be made to form another Acclimatiation Society for the Wairarapa and Bush districts.
