J The death is announced, '■ at the age of seventy-seven, of Mrs Cameron', re- '" lict of the late Mr -Alexander Camer- " on, of Kaiwarra. The deceased, with her parents ■ (the late Mr and Mrs Hugh Morison) arrived at Wellington in the ship "Blenheim" in 1840. With • her parents she resided' at Morison's Bush for some years. ' She was theonly surviving sister of the late Mr John Morrison, of Blairlogie, and was well-known and highly respected throughout the Wairarapa. Her death took place on Wednesday at her son's residence at "Okar." Sheleaves a family of three sons and fivedaughters. The funeral takes place at Wellington to-day. ,

A quiet wedding was celebrated at the Methodist Church, Carterton, on Wednesday, when Mr Ernest Edward Osman, of Mastertcn, was united . to Miss Caroline Viddlerj eldest daughter ] of the late Mr Joseph Tiddler, of Wimbledon, Hawke's Bay. The Rev. C. H. Stamlage performed the <ceremony. The bride was given away "by Mr J. Johnson, and was attended by Miss Osman, sister of the bridegroom, as bridesmaid: The bride's dress wascream silk and insertion, and she wore the usual veil and orange blossoms and' carried a lovely bouquet. The bridesmaid's dress was white silk with hat to match, and she wore a handsome gold brooch, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr George Gordon was best w man.
