. J. ARNST DEFEATED. (Received October 10, 9 a.m.) . William Albany, of England, beat Jack. Arnst, of New, Zealand, by four lengtihs in a sculling race on . the Thames, for a stake of -£SO a-side. Albany, who was the favourite, chose the Middlesex station. Albany was clear of his opponent, ifi half a minute and led by eight k at| jßarnes, winning as he pleased by four lengths. The time was 22min 50sec.
